For school children, we offer a questionnaire about prehistory and special quizzes (in German).
Guided tours of the Museum of Prehistory and of the open air exhibition grounds are available either in German or English.
Cost: 6 Euros for a 2-hour tour, 4 Euros for a 1-hour tour (entrance fee included).
In workshops, school pupils have the opportunity to learn about a prehistoric craft of their choice. On offer: felting, grinding grain and baking bread, pottery, weaving with a tablet loom, spinning, making copper jewellery or a thunder stick or using natural pigments.
Course starting time: 1pm (duration: approximately 2 hours per course)
Supplement for materials: 4 Euros per pupil
Staying overnight in the Prehistory is always an experience for children. After an exciting afternoon of workshops in the Museum of Prehistory, you can spend a cosy evening by the campfire, sleeping in sleeping bags on straw beds. Teachers remain responsible for the children’s care.
There is space for up to 30 people.
